I've seen just a programme on the BBC on the ridiculous amount of food we waste - and rather strange, it has struck an idea for a niche business.
We have all food waste in our homes based régulière.une loaf of bread which ends here or a just-after-its-sell-by-date juice carton.Supermarkets and restaurants are perhaps even more obvious culprits - Chuck frequently fruit, vegetable, bread and anything else that begins to look a little tired.
And, of course, much of what gets chucked out is perfectly comestible.Où picky consumers are involved, aesthetics won the.
But it begins even before it gets to the shops, with mountains of fruits and vegetables fresh ingredients went ever as grocery store shelves because it does comply with the spécifications.Apparemment, courgettes (Zucchini) for example must be between 17 and 21 cm - otherwise they are simply composted, tilled into the soil or fed to livestock.
So how about a niche market that sells exclusively misshapen veg, egg, begun in canned goods and too sous-taille bent bananas?
The goods may come at a discount by producers and suppliers eager to get rid of inventory which was rejected by major retailers and then sold to eco-savvy consumers and cost-conscious at a discount.
If you know a company that is already so - let me know.
